After our fabulous morning with Cathryn and Julie, we headed back to our camp spot to shower and settle the dogs in to go meet another friend.
We met Mark at retreat in Costa Rica in March of this year. I remember when I first met him, his eyes were so clear and bright and his smile was golden. This is a man who has dug deep and healed many parts of himself and he radiates love!
We met him at his office; he is a chiropractor and quantum neurologist. I don’t really know what quantum neurology is exactly but it feels a lot like magic. More on this later. We got to sit and share and update on the paths life has taken us on since retreat.
Also, charm, love, chiro and neurology aside, this man is a story teller. We were captivated by the most recent journey he’s been on and one day in the far future when my memories have faded from this day but I have a recollection of his stories, I’ll probably wonder what movie it was from or what book I had read. It was mesmerizing!

After our visit he gave us a treatment and as a chiropractor of course you all know there is adjusting involved but the magic is how he also pulls up and out of you flawed beliefs and touches your hidden wounds. He not only adjusts you physically, he adjusts you emotionally and spiritually. His ability to shine a little light on those dark places is a gift to the world.
We walked away feeling loved and balanced. Thank you mark for sharing your light, magic and gifts with us!
Reminder for me and anyone else who needs to hear it… “No matter what I have done or not done, I am worthy of love”.
After Mark’s we made our way downtown to meet a couple of other friends we made at retreat. This comes with an interesting story. Our first retreat at Finca Mia was March 2022. We met this sweet sweet man named Christian and Luce and him had an exceptionally close connection during that time. Fast forward to Finca Mia in March of this year, we arrived and saw “Christian” in the kitchen and were so excited to spend another 7 days catching up and reconnecting with him. Luce noticed he seemed to be aloof, like he didn’t even recognize us and I think was a little sad because she felt they had really gotten close in 2022.
When she vulnerably approached him and asked him how he was and how his year had been. He let her know that he was Dillon, Christian’s TWIN! Haha that explained it! Without seeing them side by side for a good compare and contrast, they seemed like the same person: gentle voices, kind eyes, deep listeners, beautiful souls!
We were so looking forward to having them both in front of us at the same time. Interesting to think how seeing them together seemed like it would help us appreciate their individuality. We met them for dinner and they understood the Dieta needs already and chose a vegan restaurant with good options for us.
Again, we shut the place down. We loved hearing how they had integrated the retreat into their lives and how they had grown and been changed by it. We enjoyed sharing how retreat had moved into and changed us on a cellular level as well. I think we could’ve talked all night. We were the last to leave and then we just continued our talks in the parking lot. I will speak for Luce and I both, our cups runneth over. We are feeling so full of love, blessed to be on this journey with such beautiful humans. There is definitely a bond that happens when you go through such deep work together. It creates a community of like minded souls all moving along the same path to know our true selves and why we are here.
We finally just made the call to part ways and planted seeds of meeting in Costa Rica next March. How beautiful it is to have them in our lives and how cool for them to be sharing the journey with each other; the very closest of relatives, twin brothers.

It was a long, full, emotional, joy filled day and we hit the hay hard when we got back to Rosie (the camper).
We decided to go just a spits distance to Park City tomorrow to check out the darling little town and do a bit of day hiking before heading to Tahoe.
I’ll keep you posted. Love you all and thank you for taking this trip with us! 🤗
