There is not a whole lot to report other than we made it to Memphis. We stayed at the KOA, set up the camper and headed with the pups and leashes to downtown/midtown where we heard that Beale Street is The. Place. To. Be.
Because I was holding a leash and managing my real camera (not the phone), I opted to not bring my bag and when we got to the top of Beale we learned we couldn’t even walk down the street without an ID which I did not have.
Bummer. Who knew Beale street was like a highly monitored Bourbon Street?! The music, lit up signs of the bars and restaurants and all the people milling about were so festive and bright but we could only peer in from behind a police barricade.
I got one snap and we left. Back to our camper. Which was AOK (at the KOA) for us because we were excited to try out the new camper’s comfort level. It did not disappoint. We got a 4” topper for the bed and we snuggled in with the AC jacked. It was good sleepin!!

We’re headed to Eureka Springs Arkansas today. Driving through some corn fields and rain hoping to find food and coffee soon.

Bronco what a good place to face rest.:)
